Woodland Studies is a series of botanical illustrations drawn from the forests of Downeast Maine — rendered in the tradition of copper engraving, printed on warm bone white. Each specimen is documented by common name, Latin binomial, and place of origin.
This complete set includes all four current specimens plus The Downeast Four — a collector's print presenting the complete series as a single botanical reference sheet in the manner of a natural history survey.
