PREORDER — Fresh Maine Balsam Fir Boughs
EXPECTED SHIPPING FROM MID-NOVEMBER
Our balsam fir is harvested only after the woodland has received three hard frosts and the needles have naturally set for the season. Shipping is expected to begin in mid-November, but the exact harvest and dispatch date is weather-dependent.
Preorders are dispatched in the order received. If seasonal conditions delay the harvest, we will email you with an update. Any additional products purchased in the same order will be held and shipped with your boughs.
The real thing, straight from the woodland.
These are full-size, fresh balsam fir boughs (Abies balsamea), wild-harvested from our sixty-acre woodland in Downeast Maine at 45°N · 67°W. Each order is cut fresh, selected for density and character, and packed straight for shipment.
No middleman. No warehouse. No sitting in a box for weeks. What arrives is what we cut.
Balsam fir is one of those materials that does the work for you. The scent fills a room without effort. The colour holds. The boughs are dense enough to anchor a wreath, full enough to build a garland and generous enough to style an entire mantle. This is the material serious makers return to every season.
Use them for
Wreath making · garland and swag construction · large seasonal arrangements · mantle and staircase styling · installations and event décor
Choose your size
3 lb — $48
Enough for a full wreath or several smaller arrangements.
5 lb — $68
A maker’s supply for multiple wreaths, larger installations or more substantial seasonal work.
What arrives
Full-size, fresh balsam fir boughs, harvested and packed to order. Expect natural variation in length, density and character—each bough is selected from our own woodland, not purchased from a supplier.
Freshly gathered. Carefully packed. Shipped straight from Downeast Maine to you.
