Shipping & Delivery

Year-Round Orders
Orders for year-round products, including balsam fir needles, typically ship from Downeast Maine within 3–5 business days. During peak harvest season, please allow a little extra time — we're a small operation and everything is handled by hand.

Retail Seasonal Products: Preorder or Ship Now
Preorder is the default on eligible seasonal greenery and live-tree listings. Expected dispatch begins in mid-November, after three hard frosts, when the balsam needles have set. Exact harvest and dispatch dates are weather dependent. If seasonal conditions delay the harvest, we will email you with an update.

To request dispatch within 3–5 business days, actively select “Ship now” from the product's Shipping dropdown. Before the seasonal frosts, needles on fresh-cut greenery have not yet set and may shed sooner.

Physical items purchased in the same order as a preorder are held and shipped together. Please place a separate order for physical items you need sooner. Digital products are delivered electronically.

Bulk & Wholesale Orders
Seasonal fir preorders are expected to dispatch from mid-November, after three hard frosts, with exact timing dependent on the weather. First Frost is our premium wholesale tier: it gives you priority first pick from the post-frost harvest, not an earlier shipping window.

Shipping Charges
Retail physical orders ship free within the contiguous United States. Wholesale orders use calculated shipping at checkout. Digital products require no physical shipping.

Live-Tree Shipping Restrictions
We cannot ship live trees to Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Oregon, or Washington. Orders to these states will be cancelled and refunded.
