GOURMET MUSHROOMS
Help shape
what we grow.
We’re planning a small gourmet mushroom-growing trial in Downeast Maine, shaped by local kitchens.
Tell us which varieties you buy, how much you use and what would make a local supply useful to you.
We’re passionate about local ingredients and the Maine makers who use them. We supply Maine balsam fir to Soba Sparkle, a Maine-made sparkling buckwheat tea featuring locally sourced flavors.
What would you like us to grow?
Fresh culinary mushrooms for local kitchens. Your requirements will help guide which varieties we trial first.
Blue oyster
Delicate caps and a mild, savory flavor. A versatile option for sautés, roasting and everyday menus.
Lion’s mane
A substantial texture that lends itself to thick slices, searing and plant-forward dishes.
Chestnut
Small caps, slender stems and a firm bite. An option for roasted dishes, sautés and mixed mushroom plates.
Mushroom medley
A changing mix of fresh culinary mushrooms, with varieties and proportions depending on availability. Let us know if a mixed box would suit your kitchen.
Commercial availability and timing are not yet confirmed. Looking for something else? Tell us below.
Proposed service area: Downeast and Midcoast Maine. Delivery arrangements will be confirmed individually.
What would work for your kitchen?
Whether you need a small weekly delivery or are simply curious, we’d welcome your input.
This is an expression of interest, not an order or commitment to buy. We’ll use your details to follow up about your requirements and availability as the pilot develops.
